The MY Bacarella project involved a 60-meter yacht built in 2009. The goal was to perform a complete overhaul of the engines, including the removal of temperature exchangers, manifolds, and cylinder heads. The cylinder heads were replaced with REMAN versions, and various accessories (turbos, oil pumps, fresh water, sea water) were also replaced.

Competent, Helpful, Efficient: Top-End Overhaul CAT 3512
By: Jon On 05/30/2025We employed CONSO in late 2023 to complete top end overhauls on both of our CAT 3512 main engines. I found their Head Technician to be very knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. The rest of the team were friendly and did an excellent job in a timely manner. Our engines are now running very well, and no doubt will for years to come. I would highly recommend CONSO if you need work done on your Caterpillar engines – we will certainly be using them again in the future.
