Cat® O-Rings are used in static sealing and some dynamic applications.

Cat® O-Ring 109-2332 is made from materials that are matched to the fluids, temperatures and pressures found in Cat engines and machines. The materials resist wear and extrusion, and provide superior resistance to seal compression set. In addition, certain Cat O-Rings are coated with PTFE to minimize seal twisting and cutting during seal installation, all the characteristics and compatibilities of the Cat® O-Ring 109-2332 are detailed below.

Poorly maintained cooling systems, or using inferior coolant products, may result in cooling systems that are heavily contaminated with rust, scale, solder-bloom, corrosion deposits, oil/fuel or other debris which may cause fouling of the radiator and cooling system galleries and loss of heat transfer performance. Once a sytem is fouled or plugged flushing with plain water will not easily shift the contaminants.

Fleetguard’s Restore is an alkline cleaner and Restore Plus is a mild acidic cleaner which remove the contamination without harming harming the metal surfaces, gaskets, hoses or plastic parts.

The Plus-version from Restore is a mild acid based chelating cleaner

• Formulated to remove scale and rust deposits without disassembling your cooling system
• Can also remove oil, fuel and grease contamination and solder bloom
• Safe for aluminum radiator and heaters

The base-version of Fleetguards Restore is an alkaline based chelating cleaner.

• Most effective for removing silicate gel
• Highly effective forremoving oil, fuel and grease contamination
• More effective than automotive distributor detergent tablets
• Safe for aluminum radiator and heaters

See related items for the base-version of Fleetguard's restore cleaner.

How to use Restore and Restore Plus:

1. Drain the cooling system and safely dispose of used coolant. Isolate the filter (if fitted) and backflush the system with plain water.

2. Immediately add 1 litre of Restore or Restore Plus for each 10-15 litre of cooling system capacity and fill the system with plain water.

3. Turn heater temperature switch to high to allow maximum coolant flow through heater core. Blower does not need to be turned on.

4. Run the engine at normal operating temperature for 2 hours.

5. Drain and flush the system (x 2) with plain water. This may require more than one flush.

6. Refill with a fully formulated coolant (see related items).

7. Change your water/coolant filter if fitted and open the isolation valve.

Maximum recommended engine running time with any type of cleaner in the cooling system is 3 hours. Any prolonged usage may cause damage to system elastomers and corrode system soft metals.

This is Fleetguard's Plus-Version of the Restore-cleaner, 5L.
