VDS-4.5 15W40 is a heavy-duty engine oil with a specific formulation that incorporates exclusive additives. It is recommended for use in modern diesel engines regardless of operating conditions and type of environment. It is therefore perfectly compatible with all Volvo Penta engines previously lubricated with VDS-2, VDS-3 or VDS-4 oils. It is also recommended for certain gasoline engines. Refer to the user manual.
