VDS-4.5 15W40 is a heavy-duty engine oil with a specific formulation that incorporates exclusive additives. It is recommended for use in modern diesel engines regardless of operating conditions and type of environment. It is therefore perfectly compatible with all Volvo Penta engines previously lubricated with VDS-2, VDS-3 or VDS-4 oils. It is also recommended for certain gasoline engines.

These stringent specifications apply to Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Renault, Dacia vehicles. They help to improve fuel efficiency and allow to reduce O2 emissions. This oil can be used in other gasoline and diesel engines where SAE 5W-30 grade ACEA C2 or C3, or API oils are specified by the manufacturer.

Suitable for the latest diesel engines fitted with particulate filters in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Can be used where a SAE 5W30 grade ACEA C4 oil is specified by the manufacturer: Fiat (Talento), Infiniti, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Samsung (QM3), Suzuki (Grand Vitara ), etc.

For RS and Alpine engines, use Renault RN17 RSA approved Yacco GALAXIE A SAE 0W40 lubricant . For diesel DPF engines up to Euro6d-temp series, use exclusively RN0720 oil (Yacco LUBE R 5W30). Can be used where SAE 5W-30 grade ACEA C3 oil is specified by the manufacturer.
Yacco TRANSPRO 40 SAE 15W40 is a mineral oil for diesel engines. Mineral oil developed to meet the strict technical requirements of Euro 5 & Euro 6 or Tier 4 & Tier 3 low-emission diesel engines without DPF and using SCR technology (AdBlue). Suitable for most supercharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines which run on high or low sulphur fuel: lorries, construction and agricultural equipment, stationary engines, generators, marine engines, etc. It is also suitable for gasoline engines in mixed fleets of vehicles where the manufacturer recommends the use of API SL or ACEA A3/B4, ACEA/B3 SAE 15W-40 oil.

VDS 4.5 15W40 and VDS-4.5 10W-30. VDS-4.5 10W-30 is recommended for some newer engines (e.g. Stage V engines) to further improve durability and fuel economy.
